Boyan
Acoustic/Pop/Rock
Boyan used to be an
award winning acoustic guitarist. He played with many
people, many genres of music, recorded hours of original
highly
creative instrumental music until he finally gave up and
started writing songs... Then he found out that he is no
longer a guitarist because he now plays a dobro 90% of the
time (see pic) Boyan plays catchy, groovy tunes about
everyday life. His unique sound
and mastery of the dobro makes a difference when you go out
to listen to some live music. |

The Brite Side/Jason Misrahi
Roots/Alternative Country
The Brite Side is now Jason Misrahi. After a 3-year
collaboration with a full band in South Florida, he has
chosen to migrate back to his native town of New York City.
His music has been compared to the likes of the Counting
Crows. More recently he's been compared to latter-day Brit
Pop, which came about in large part by the influence of the
musicians who have surrounded him in the creative process.
However, left to his own devices, he's definitely a roots
artist who fits in well with the new singer/songwriter
revival.
Misrahi writes songs of hope, love and pain. If you ask him
what type of music he plays he would tell you it's American
Revolution music. Not on some grand political scale, but in
a one-on-one influence on you, the listener.

Tejas Singh
Acoustic / Indie / Folk
Singer/songwriter Tejas Singh began writing during the late
90s at the age of 15, and soon formed a band in his hometown
of Springfield, Virginia, just outside of Washington DC.
His early work was strongly influenced by many of the major
songwriters of that era, particularly Dave Matthews and Ben
Harper. He soon developed into a versatile writer and front
man, capable of producing original material in both a solo
and full band setting. His early efforts as a band leader
culminated in 2000 with a live recording of original songs
performed by his band at the time, Otis. The recording was
Tejas' first studio effort, and contained strong overtones
from many of the jam band greats of that period such as Moe
and Phish. It was the first of two recordings that Tejas
produced while still in high school, the other being a solo
album called Sunny Sides (August 2002). Though neither
recording was ever officially released, both set a strong
precedent for what would come in the future. erial, both
familiar and unique. His first official release came in May
of 2007, shortly after moving to New York to pursue music
full time. With a repertoire of over fifty original songs,
it is sure to be the first of many recordings from this
young artist, who may yet prove to be one of the next
members in the long line of great contemporary songwriters. |
